:: January 18, 2002 - Going Camping After Lunch ::

I'm heading to up to Princeton, BC (there's old west ghost towns around there too) with a bunch of friends this weekend to go camping. Yes, winter camping. I won't be cold because I have Carol's sleeping bag that we got at MEC where we also bought my backpack. It's good at temperatures as low as -30° Celsius (brrr!). We won't go hungry because Paul will be making his legendary stew. If we run out of food there's always Cannibalism. I read a book about the Donner Party when I was there one winter a couple of years ago. Everyone started looking like a roasted turkey. Yum!

Don't for get to subscribe to the Lunch Mail List to get daily updates.

Baloney and mustard sandwich, two chocolate chip cookies and carrots. These new lunch containers rock. They seal so well you could make a time capsule out of lunch. Although who would want to eat someone's thousand year old lunch?

Fat Free Vanilla Yogurt. Yogurt is made with bacteria. Yuck. It sounds like it would be rotten, but it tastes so good. hmmm?!

Diet Dr Pepper. Speaking of Dr's, I've had a headache since Monday. Not good. I'll have to go see the Dr if I don't get rid of this soon. ARGH! I hope it doesn't stay for 12 days. It's already beed five!

I hope I don't meet a grizzly bear this weekend. Maybe I should get a suit.

Apparently there's lots of snow in Princeton this time of year. I would like to build an igloo one day. That would be cool. Excuse the pun. Probably the only Igloo I'll see is Ric's Igloo cooler full of pop inside the cabin.
