:: January 25, 2002 - Corner Store Lunch ::

Yep I did it again. I went to 7-eleven for lunch. Sorry, Carol. I had to do it I took my camera with me this am so we at least get one lunch out this week (sort of). I would hate to work there.

Don't forget, if you scan you lunch you can email it to lunch@mikebrowne.com and we'll do lunch!

Don't for get to subscribe to the Lunch Mail List to get daily updates.

The 7-11 on the corner of Drake and Granville here in Vancouver. It's across the street from where I get off the bus in the mornings. I hate taking mass transit.

A Big Sev' Pizza Sub. Cheese, salami, and pepperoni. Maybe I'll order a pizza this weekend

Old Dutch (what a crappy website) Corn Chips. Bagged in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Brrrr. Very salty.

Hostess Apple Pie. There were a lot of ingredients in this that I shudder at. For example, "sodium propionate (to retard spoilage)". I am sure that I have eaten so many preservatives I won't need embalming upon my passing away. Just prop me up in a corner and I'll stay fresh forever.

Diet Pepsi. No twist. Look Marita. Plastic!

The Adventures of Captain Underpants by Dave Pilkey. Our friend Paul bought it for us. Maybe he's trying to send us a message. He is either Catain Underpants himself or his evil twin brother. I read this entire 120 page book on the train this morning. There are more. The next one I want is Captain Uunderpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants.
