:: February 12, 2002 - Olympic Style Robbery Lunch ::

The stinkin' Russians, Anton Sikharulidze and Elena Berezhnaya, won the gold medal last night in pairs figure skating even after huge mistakes and wobbling around like a couple o' drunken sailors. The Canadian pairs team, Sale and Pelletier, skated a flawless routine and were awarded silver. A travesty of Olympic proportions. Apparently the Eastern European judges thought that putting the screws to the Canadian team would be fun. This calls into question, once again, the judging at world class figure skating events. I like hockey a lot more, but this crap makes no sense at all. Oh those Russians!

Baloney and Cheese on a bagel. Apparently you can find some of the best bagels in the world in Montréal, Quebec. You'll also find a hockey team that Leaf fans love to hate. Also, while in Montréal don't forget to get your self some poutine!

Spinach salad, some dressing and a watermelon fruit roll-up.

Cherry Fat Free yogurt. Might help me get in shape .... eventually. If I go for a walk once in a while too.

Diet Barq's Root Beer.

The Oscar Nominees were announced today. How in the hell did Denzell Washington get nominated for that pretentious piece of crap, Training Day? Was the nomination panel high when they saw that movie? Snoop's portrayal of a gangster in a wheelchair should have got the nod for that one.
