:: February 15, 2002 - Finally Gold Lunch ::

Finally, Canada, a country known for it's winter sports, has won a gold medal at the 2002 Winter Olympics. It's a big one too, Catriona LeMay Doan, won her second straight Gold Medal in the Women's 500m Speed Skating final last night. No other Canadian has ever successfully defended a Gold Medal in any Olympic sport, summer or winter. Thanks to a traffic jam Catriona's medal presentation ceremony was postponed until today, but she won all the same. Way to go!!

UPDATE 10:07am Pacific: Canadians Salé and Pelletier awarded a gold medal. The Pairs competition called a draw. French judge suspended due to misconduct.

Turkey, Ham and Swiss on a Pita. From Sev' (of course). It's only and urban legend that food from Sev' is full of formaldehyde and is all 10 years old.

Lay's Classic Potato Chips - I'll take the 5th on whether or not these are good for me. Poor Enron.

Clearly Canadian Oxygen Enhanced - natural fruit flavoured water beverage. Fruit Citrus. Oxygen.

Mini Oreos made by Nabisco.

Carol and I love the look that Team Canada is sporting so much we went out and bought matching fleece hoodies. Our friend Viki told us that it's a sign that you're turning into crazy old people when you start dressing alike.
