:: February 28, 2002 - Doomsday Lunch ::

I saw on the news the other night that they have moved the hands on the Doomsday Clock to seven minutes to midnight. I remember Iron maiden had a song called Two Minutes to Midnight on their Powerslave album. Carol, our friend Glenn and myself went to see Iron Maiden last year. We were front row thanks to a friend in security. Iron Maiden came off looking more like Spinal Tap if you ask me; Old and wrinkly.

Don't forget, if you scan you lunch you can email it to lunch@mikebrowne.com and we'll do lunch!

Chicken salad and spinach. There are a lot of chicken sites on the web. But none so odd as the Chenguin (a cross between a chicken and a penguin). Although thereis a page that will turn you into a chicken - be careful.

Apple Strawberry sauce. Made with apples, strawberries and enough sugar to require an insulin shot. Insulin, by the way, was a Canadian discovery.

Another green apple. AKA Granny Smith apple

Light Low Caloire Iced Tea. Sweetened with Splenda. Some people think Splenda is not good for you. What is? It does taste kind of weird.

Hip Jones is playing at The Brockton Oval Clubhouse in Stanley Park tomorrow at 9pm. Tickets are $5.00 at the door and worth every penny. I took the picture seen above. You can view a larger version of it here. Also, it's Dennis's birthday tomorrrow. Well, as close to it as he can get when it's not a Leap Year. He was born on February the 29th - Leap Day.
