What a nightmare it was trying to get home on
the
train yesterday. The train we usually take was taken for "maintenance"
right before it was to come to the platform even though it had just
sat there
all day. We waited in the cold on the platform for quite some
time. Then, when the train finally came, it was late and on the wrong
track - and 3 cars short. As it's one of the busier times to take
the train, after all the pushing and shoving was over, there was nowhere
left to sit, let alone stand. We had to take the next train. As
Translink
has a
monopoly
(which I thought were illegal) on transit in BC our only other option
is to drive. I wanted to brain the conductor (as I'm sure lots of
other people did).
