LATE NIGHT UPDATE: I know. Lunch talk was down again. ARGH! I fixed it though. Woohoo! Perl be damned straight to the hot place!

Lunch broke 10,000 hits on the counter yesterday. It was Carol's friend and co-worker Catherine Kriekenbeek-Lee who had the honours. Thanks Catherine. You win a free trip to the dentist. Oh wait, you don't have to pay anyway. You're married to one. HEHE! Oh well, thanks anyway.

Our regular lunch guest from Louisiana turned 30. Happy Birthday, Simone!

After my rant yesterday about Canada Post the gifts came. Their ears must have been burning.

Only 6 more days until Christmas!

Peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwich. It's one of my favourite childhood treats. This one looks like someone dropped it out of a plane without a parachute. It's a little flat.

Shortbread cookies with chocolate chips made by a friend of ours. I have never had that combination before, but I can tell you that it's awesome. Carol, we need to make many more of these. Oh yeah!

Cucumbers. A lot of them. Too many. I'm not quite sure if I consider these yummy or yucky.

Carol gave me one of those stupid Japanese Oranges that are so popular here at Christmas time. She loves them. I hate them. They taste perfumy; like someone's grandma was sitting on them after a cologne bath. Gag! Blech! I ate it though (as you can see). These were a dumb idea if there ever was one.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964). A very bad movie. It's enough to put someone off their lunch.
