:: December 20, 2001 - Fly's Down Lunch ::

I was waiting for the bus today to get from the train station to work and I noticed a draft. My fly was open! Not just a little. All the way down. Luckily my coat was long enough to cover it up. I was itching to zip it up again but there wre too many people around me to do it and look cool at the same time. So I waited until I was just about to sit down on the bus and did a slick quick zip. Oh well, at least I didn't take my pants off in the middle of Mark's Work Warehouse again. Right, Carol?

Only 5 more days until Christmas!

Oh yeah, in reference to yesterday's movie, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians it's on the Space Channel here in Canada at midinght on Christmas Night. Set your VCRs!

Potato soup. We had this last night for dinner. Carbs are good. Starchy potatoes are the best. The low carb diet thing sucks. I'm a carbo-addict for sure. It's a bit extreme if you ask me. What's next? You breathe too much you need to give it up. Duh! Make it stop.

Bun, roll, bread, biscuit - I love my online Thesaurus.

Apple. Red like a crazy drunk guy's nose

The leaning tower of Diet Pepsi Twist. The Leaning Tower of Pisa is open to tourists again. You wouldn't want to go up there when you're dizzy with an inner ear infection. You might just end up tipping right out a window.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town, starring Fred Astaire as the narrator and Mickey Rooney as Kris Kringle. It also comes with the Little Drummer boy (another classic). I bought this DVD last night when I was finishing up my Christmas shopping for the lunch lady (not like the ones in school), Mrs Browne. I can't wait to watch it again. I think I've discovered what I like to collect - Christmas stuff. Who knew? Oh well. Santa Rocks!
